Balenciaga or Bust?
I was not a “Bernie or Bust” bro by any means, but I did vote for Bernie Sanders in the Illinois primary this past Spring. When it was clear that Hillary was going to be the Democratic nominee, there was no question that I was going to support her. Not everyone felt the same way.
It seems Demna Gvasalia was one of these people, or maybe are just marketing to them? He recently designed Balenciaga’s 2017 Fall Menswear Collection (why they are releasing Fall clothes in January, I don’t know. Fashion is it’s own world) featuring the logo in the style of Bernie Sanders’ campaign logo. Not sure why he chose to style his men’s collection after the self declared “Democratic Socialist”, but the idea sure is getting attention!
